Cricket Broadband in Houston?

I have read in this forum that EV-DO is working in Houston, but it would seem that Cricket Broadband is not yet available there. I travel a lot, and I'd like to know if I can "roam" when I'm in Houston and other cities.

I am very attracted to the service because of the price and lack of contract, and I'd like to take advantage of this as soon as possible. I'm in Denver now, and since it's available here I believe I could just go out and purchase it as long as it works in Houston and other cities (many in Texas) without additional charges.

Thanks in advance, and please excuse my ignorance. I've never used Cricket, and I'm not sure how they structure their phone and data plans.

Yeah, I went ahead and picked one up - come on, $40/month for unlimited mobile broadband? I imagine it's working in Houston now since they're launching their broadband service there on 9/23. I'll be back in town tomorrow and expect no electricity, but now I'll have internet access as long as my laptop battery will hold a charge! :)

EDIT: Here are the speeRAB I'm seeing now in Denver, but last night my download speeRAB were much faster:
