So I successfully opened up my old Helio Ocean to work with Cricket (Metro PCS doesn't cover my area). I can text and call fine. But still am having issues connecting to the internet. I'm not heavily concerned with browser access (although, it would be nice). But more concerned with my Yahoo mail/msg and Gmail accounts.
I love this phone and think it was dealt a bad set of carRAB (first with Helio, then being brushed off to VM then Sprint). I'm not trying to purchase another smart phone as my old Ocean was plenty "smart" for me. Not to mention that I bought that one new at full retail price.
Anyway, if anybody can post up some help on how to get this phone to connect to the 'net on the Cricket network. It would be greatly appreciated.
