And smiling men are walking chairs
along the sidewalks growing hairs
and we've lost the difference they say
as they walk into the play
We are acting in the lake
please don't watch long
its getting so so dark
in the water
we're sleeping flat
floating on our backs
praying in death
please don't watch too long
priests throw blood into the pot
and undress the blackened lot
to the stifling mind frenzy
caring crosses they praise
his dying place
Blue ambush attacks the sky
and we open our fitted eyes
and they tell us what lays beyond the clouds
and they spread night time blues
and murder our sickly times
spent in murdered rhyme
along the sidewalks growing hairs
and we've lost the difference they say
as they walk into the play
We are acting in the lake
please don't watch long
its getting so so dark
in the water
we're sleeping flat
floating on our backs
praying in death
please don't watch too long
priests throw blood into the pot
and undress the blackened lot
to the stifling mind frenzy
caring crosses they praise
his dying place
