Creepy friend.....................?

Well in our "group" of friends there are 9 of us but there is this girl who everyone seems to be annoyed with.She isn't a bad person and she can be nice.However she follows people about ,or joins the group at lunch or whatever and doesnt speak at all .There has been multiple occasions where I've just been standing and just asked " where is ......?" ,*otehr friend*" erm she is behind you" or you just turn round and let out a shriek as you dont expect someone to be standing behind you.Also we went to a gallery and i noticed she was following me so i got a friend to check if she was doing the exact same ,she was when i stoopped so did she i changed direction so did she .That was a very uncomfortable day i couldnt even text my mum as she read over my back or walk awy for tiome alone because she followed ,yesterday i was told by a friend waiting for me she walked into my toilet cubicle then stepped out went to turn and lock the door.Im sorry for the long message and it probably doenst make that mcuh sense but it is beginging to kind of get distressing and im sure she doesnt mean it or she doenst have the confidence but what can we do ?She is making the rest of the grouop hate her for it .
 
Pull her aside and ask her very nicely (one-on-one) if she wouldn't mind not following you and peeking over your shoulder and state how your friends are distressed by her abnormal actions also. I am lonely and I used to act like that and sometimes I still do but that's not acceptable. I realized that and she's probably awkward and hasn't "broken the ice yet," but if she doesn't get your one-on-one message then tell a caring person like a paster/minister or someone like an elder from the church. A mentor to intervene.
