I live in a good neighborhood,Im not saying this makes it good but most of the people around us live in nice houses,and are rich so they have better security and we have neighborhood watch.
but we were on a walk a few months ago,and we saw a guy hanging around a Lady's house at night.
turns out the guy has been trying to get into that Lady's house forever,and she told my mom a few days later.
then we saw this (different) guy at a place in his car and trying to get into their cars.my mom saw him first and my dad was under a tree so he couldn't see him,and he stepped towards my mom from the other side of the street,until my dad stepped out,then he went in his car a drove away.My mom told the people and everything.
I get really creeped out at night and like to sleep with a hammer in the side of my bed.
Am I being paranoid?Well,I know I am,but it makes me feel safer.
I had my dad fix the lock on my window,and I make sure everything is locked before I go to bed.
What can I do to make me feel safer without spending to much money?The people around us may be rich,but we aren't.
