Credit Tards

Nobody put the pipe in your hand. Nobody puts the beer in your hand. Nobody holds a gun to your head and says "BUY WEED FROM ME OR YOU WILL DIE"

And even if they did, it would still be your choice. You might not like the choices you get in life but you still get them. And you live with them. That is growing up.

I suggest you start accepting responsibility for your choices and you and your father would probably get along a lot better. I am not saying that to be mean, I am saying the same thing I would say to my own kids. You make a choice, you fuck up, you pay the price.

i have heard so many stories about this and i am sick and tired of hearing it over and over again

it is not what you spend the money on it is the fact that you spent more money than you had and wanted to spend even more WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!!!!

credit card companies should start requiring an IQ test before issuing a credit card to anyone

There are so many different answers I could give you for that question. People have problems, people need money, people do stupid stuff. Yes, I made a mistake. No, I'm not making excuses. But I have every right to bitch about whatever I want to, even if it's all my fault in the first place.

I'm gonna think a lot better of myself when I get out of debt. ;) I think of it as an artificial challenge I accidentally gave myself. If I wasn't in debt, my life would be way too simple and I wouldn't have any sort of success story. Not that I'm going to be a success, and not that this is a great success story to have.

But it'll be a success story, either way.

Edit: By the way, the whole point of this thread was that the credit card company told me something and did another. It's one thing for them to be a mis-leading company like the rest. It's another for them to tell me they did something when they didn't do it. Read the original post if you want to know what I'm talking about.
