I just put up this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylc=X3oDMTE1MmI4N2IyBF9TAzIxMTU1MDAxMTgEc2VjA2Fuc19ub3QEc2xrA3N1YmplY3Q-;_ylv=3?qid=20080602145248AAaSPAf and got a bunch of crap responses. There were a few good responses, but I'd like my question answered directly.
My question is simple, how will having 2 cards affect my credit score against having 1 card. I WILL pay it all off every month. I'm better with money that you would ever give a college kid credit for.

Please don't give me any stay away from credit cards crap. They ruined your credit but don't project yourself onto me, I'm smarter and much more reasonable than you.

Your credit score is effected by the percentage of available credit you are using. So if you have two cards you have more available credit, and if you can keep a high percentage of credit available it will be good for your credit.

You need to make sure that you use both of the cards, because inactivity is a negative on your credit report.

Hope that helps.
