My friend just had ALL of his money in his bank accounts taken away, down to the last cent. Called the necessary people to find out why. Apparently, he still owes a credit card company from nearly a decade ago. Now until May 23, ALL of his money will be taken away. Leaving him no money for the apartment he rents, the utility bills, the car bills, FOOD, nothing. Rendering him further into debt with other businesses, and leaving him homeless. No notice was given, and the spokesperson he talked to said that was their judgement to be used against him. WTF? What should he do? Need SOLUTIONS ASAP.
Yeah, your right, he should pay. However, not at the cost of living. The credit card company should have called/visited/mailed him to make monthly payments. People need to pay their debt but this is not the way to do it.
