Creative idea to represent speaking out for what you believe in?

I need to represent standing up for myself and speaking out for what I believe in. What could I do to show this. I want to do something simple like any object, or picture, or something to represent this.

Or, if you can't think of anything, I want to do a lit candle and one star behind it but I can't think of how it would relate. Any ideas on how I could relate that?
