Hey 
For my book I have this character from another realm, like... example: The Legend of Zelda, how it has the Twilight realm? You can imagine this world like the Twilight realm for that's the most similar that I know of. I'm doing good with creating the world, but I don't know how to make the race that populates it look.
Their suppose to be demonic in appearance but still have a human figure, example: horns and wings. But horns and wings are so overused that I can't use that. I've thought of thin tall horns atop of their head, dark silvery grey and fiery white skin colors, red/ amber/ teal colored eyes, similar shades for hair ((there's just multiple colors in these categorys since not everyone looks alike no matter what race.)) Have tribal markings on their skin that vary depending on what caste and if noble what family they belong too. But I don't know if I'm happy with this. Opinions?
And would anyone have any suggestions to how this race should look? It don't have to be pretty, it could be scary/ terrifying, anything. Whatever you'd like to see a demonic race look like.
