OK. now that my finals are done ive started to play World of Warcraft again and the group of online friends from the game wanted to start a website. So one of them went to guildomatic.com and bought a 3 month account to host our website and they put me in charge of managing it.
Ive had some previous experience in managing guild sites, but there is usually someone there to help me along with the technical stuff. Except this time that person isnt there anymore. So what im trying to say is if there is someone out there with experience in managing this type of sites and if they could help me out.
like for one thing i would like to learn BBcode since this site uses it a lot. or at least a site where i can get the basics.
some widgets that might help this site out. or any other modules that might help make the site better.
Also i would like to copy down some posts from other forums and post them on mine, but i dont know exactly how to do that. Sure i can copy and paste but the topics usually have a lot of links in it. or if there is a way of copying down in html format so that i can repost in my guilds forum. or at least a way of linking it.
