I've always loved threads like these. Just pitch an idea for an animated series, whether you are actually planning to make into an an actual television show or not. Anyways, here my idea:
Kasey Kockroach
The show focuses on yours truly, Kasey the Kockroach. Kasey's personality is completely insane, off the wall, unstable, and he only delights in simply heckling others. As you can possibly tell by now, he is an follow-up to the screwball cartoon chracters of the 40's like Daffy Duck or Woody Woodpecker. Kasey has many foils(aka, victims) but his main victim has been Earl Buzzard, a dimwitted fellow who justs wants to mind his own buissness. But Kasey makes sure that never happens. So far, I have put little to no supporting characters other then Earl. But there is also Slam Wallaby, who is another victim of Kasey's psychotic antics. While Slam is much smarter then Earl Buzzard and even manages to beat Kasey at the end from time to time, he is prone to frustration and temper, which ends up bieng his downfall.Other then that, Kasey is the basicially the only true main character. But to due to his criminally insane traits, he has caused controvery among the several people who I tell my own stories to. Nevertheless, I really hope to one day put this character on TV. Since I've been drawing him for about 6 years, and he has been evolving in terms of appearance and personality, Kasey Kockroach has grown very close to me.
By the way, I'd though I would also post some of the stories I came up with him. Let me know what you think after stating your ideas, if you want to.
Loose Screwball:Earl Buzzard is hosting a barbeque, and Kasey tries several ways to get past him and swipe the delicious food.
Son of a Beach- Slam Wallaby attempts to have a nice day at the beach, but Kasey is bent on causing chaos for Slam.
Moron of the Mounted- Sergeant Earl of the Mounted is sent to catch mental patient Kasey Kockroach, but we know this is no easy task.
The Dippy Dope-Probaly the simplest story of them all. Poor construction worker is provoked by Kasey to chase through the cartoon. One of the few stories where Kasey loses.
