If you're wondering what you'll ever do with all those past-their-ironic-prime "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts, you could always turn them into reusable shopping bags.
Not only will you be cutting down on waste, but when your response to "Paper or Plastic?" is to scream something about tots, it'll finally make sense to the bewildered cashier.
You'll need a heavyweight cotton t-shirt, a sewing machine, and if you want the handles to be nice and uniform—a medium size bowl to use as a template for the hole you'll be cutting.
For a video guide and some extra tips, check out the full tutorial at MarthaStewart.com. Have your own crafty ways of reusing things around the home? Let's hear about it in the comments.
