Crazy symptom question

Can GERD that was once controlled on protonix, now get worse over many years?

I actually think that my reflux went up into my nose while sleeping burning my throat and nasal canal. It burned so badly I needed ice all day!!:confused:

I have a hiatal hernia that seems to be getting worse, and have been on protonix for over 5 yrs. I have had this since as long as I can recall and I am 38.

I HAVE to get this resolved. I have gastritus and IBS with constipation as well. Thanks.
 
i understand and i would get this resolved.
Your doc may need to change your medication or dose.
Hopefully you can get this under control again soon.
