Crank/Crank 2 (no spoilers)

Crank 2 is released this Friday. I saw the trailer for it and it just looks fcuking wild!!! :eek:

I haven't seen Crank so i don't know anything about the film at all apart from Jason Statham being the main star. However for those who haven't seen the 1st Crank like myself, ITV4 is showing it tonight at 10pm! Do not miss!

Can't wait as i really wanna check out Crank 2 and find out why he's humping that granny! LOL!
 
Did you not see the trailer? It explains why he's 'humping' the granny.

I didn't think much of Crank though, it was pure mindless cinema, it truly is one of those films where you just have to turn your brain off and watch, no thinking, it's all bang bang action and visuals... very little story and what little there is a child could understand. I suppose it would be OK for some cheese-fuelled braindead fun but that's about it. I'm actually surprised they made a sequel and would be even more shocked if they made a third one...

I wasn't expecting much from the first one but really enjoyed it. Saw the second one yesterday and it is totally insane, loved it. Plenty of "I can't believe they just did that" moments and lots more humour than the first; I laughed lots.:D
 
I couldn't agree more. I cant remember the last time i sat in the cinema laughing out loud at the pure ridiculous-ness of a film. INSANITY at its greatest.

Please dont watch it expecting plot, character development...etc...and then come on here bitching about it, enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a whale of a time.
 
His heart is now virtually indestructible thanks to the "Chinese shit" that was injected into it. Presumably it also made the rest of his body in the same sort of vein so that explains why he isn't a giant pizza by the end of the first movie. His body is now super strong, but now that th eheart has been taken out, can the rest survive?

Crank being shown again tonight at 10pm on ITV4.

Missed it Thursday night so will watch it tonight and then go see Crank 2 later in the week.
 
Seen Crank 2 last night, loved it, better than the first one definitely! It had everything..a kinky little romance, non-stop electrifying action, comedy, and a an intensity too. I think Jason Statham is just brilliant, and Bai Ling and the other blonde girl were really funny too. I felt on a complete high after watching it, I was really buzzing. Any film that makes you feel like that is great in my eyes. I'd recommend it, 10/10!!
 
I watched Crank 2 last night and I loved it. Its more mental than the first film and a really good mindless action film. I would love to see a 3rd film but I wonder how they can top Crank 2 for mindless action. Maybe they should follow the advise of the Empire review and do Crank 3D as that is properly the only way to better Crank 2!
 
Went to see it tonight (dragged along with 4 guys). Haven't seen the first film. Thought this was mindless, yes, but blo*dy funny in places - deliberately so! Anything with a Mike Patton soundtrack is worth a look :)
 
crank 2 is fantastic, statham is the best action hero going at the moment

i love the scene where they are having sex on the race track, hilarious
 
Just got back from seeing it. Probably the most insane film i've ever seen...i loved it! lol. Extremely funny all the way through, my jaw actually hurt by the end of it because my mouth was in a constant grin at the antics on screen!

Really hope they make a 3rd :D
 
For all the ones who said Crank 2 was good and better than the first ...

ARE YOU MAD?! Or just thick? It was one of, if not THE, worst film I've ever seen! I'm actually quite mad at losing those hours of my life. It was stupid, so unrealistic and no proper storyline. Also, much of the film has pointless shots of naked women which was annoying.

Don't waste your time or money on this!
 
Are you really that stupid that you went to see it not knowing its a leave your brain at the door style crazy action movie? You have made yourself look very silly with your comments.
