I found a rebuilt 1980 chevy luv truck about an hour north of me. I asked the owner to meet me halfway at a mechanic, and he said he didn't want to drive very far but he'd meet me at one closer to him. I asked why and he said drivers are crazy and it's dangerous in the rain (rain IS abnormal where we live). He also said it's a classic car that he usually just takes to shows and he's protective because a lot of people like that kind of car. Is this a BS cover for he's afraid it won't make it through an hour's drive (or he's just lazy or bad at driving stick shift or something), or does it sound like legit reasons?
