someone in my family is having this problem . when she breaths there is a kind of crackling sound which comes from the mouth and this sound comes all the time . the problem is that she does not hear the sound .when she breathes through her nose the sound is not that clear but it is still there .pls help me .

at the very LEAST she needs to see her regular primary doc to at least have this fully evaluated and checked out to find out where she is kinda 'breathing thru fliud' in a way? that is where/why the 'crackles' are usually heard, when there just IS some level of active fluid accumulation either at more of the upper respiratory level(could even be more at the very base of her throat for many different reasons) or just a bit deeper into the upper areas of the lungs? just having her doc listen to her lungs to see if he can hear the crackles in the upper lobes at all would kind of dictate where this fluid actually 'is" and why she sounds like she does? but IT DOES need to be checked out. i really am suprised that she herself does not seem to actually even hear this herself? is she possibly somewhat hard of hearing too? the person breathing this way can just usually hear this much more strongly since it is happening at the area so close to her inner ear/hearing more strongly 'inside" of HER?

but do try and get her to see at least her own primary doc to have this checked out. hopefully this is possible drainage from the sinuses or something that would tend to go down the back of her throat and "settle' at more the base before you swallow kind of thing? but the lungs need that good listen by a good doc too. esp at the upper respiratory. this would simply either rule in or out any possible 'inner'(lung) upper resp issue if nothing is actually heard in there when she takes in a breath or lets it out?

good luck with this and do please keep me posted, FB
