My boyfriend recently dropped his iPhone 3GS and cracked the bottom of the screen. The phone still worked fine, that is, until he dropped it again. After that you could slide the slide bar, and put in numbers 1-9 (for pass code) and accept calls. But unfortunately his pass code starts with 0, so he is unable to unlock it. After trying to get the 0 to work numerous times, the phone eventually locked up completely and says he has to log onto iTunes..but since he has a pass code it will not work. Can Apple reset his phone?
Also, he ordered a new screen but they told him that there are actually 2 screens he will need to replace.
Is there anything we can do or is the phone basically garbage?
