Court testimony question?

I need to help out a friend who is suing someone for injuries. I want to represent as a witness but since I know both parties very well, I want to be anonymous. Can I just write a paper of what I witnessed and if the judge has any questions, feel free to call me?
If I do this, can it be on regular paper or is there a special legal paper that needs to be filled out?
 
No, you can't do that. The other party has the right to cross-examine you if you provide testimony.

Plus, what you are suggesting is cowardly and lame. Man up, sissy-boy.
