Court shoes or running sneakers for running?

Does it really make a difference if i wear court shoes or regular sneakers for running? The thing is I have a track meet this Friday, and I need a new pair of sneakers, but the thing is I need a new pair of volleyball sneakers too, instead of having to buy two different pairs of sneakers, can I just buy one. Will the court sneakers give me the same results as the running sneakers?
 
Running shoes are important, they give you stability and help prevent injuries that you'd otherwise be getting just wearing runners..you need proper shoes to do the sport properly or else you're setting yourself up for shin splints and a whole other slew of problems
