Now, I know that kids have asked these questions before, but I can't go off of them because nobody ever explains themselves or bashes the kids about doing their school work, Please explain yourself when you answer.
Here are the questions.
1. A difference between craftsmen in the U.S. and Europe was that in:
A. Europe had to learn to operate specialized machinery.
B. The U.S. workers more likely had to learn to operate specialized machinery.
C. In America there were no need for skilled craftsmen
D. In Europe there was little demand for skilled workers.
I Think that is is either C, or A.
2. The greatest success of reformers in the first half of the 1800s was:
A. Women receiving the right to vote.
B. The introduction of colleges and universities to the U.S.
C. The vast number of practicing transcendentalists in the South.
D. The growth of schools and schooling throughout the nation, but especially in the North.
I believe D to be correct.
The Seneca Falls Declaration of Women's Rights:
A. Was immediately adopted in the U.S. Congress.
B. Was read by politicians who gave women the right to vote in every state over the next twenty years.
C. Made demands that some could argue have yet to be fully implemented.
D. Also nominated the first woman presidential candidate.
I know the answer is not D. I think the answer is C..
Now let me express this to whomever comes across this question and decides to comment/answer. I have read my book, and I am using up my points in order to ask this question. Meaning that I HAVE looked through my book and read several times. If I had not done that then I would not have any ideas as to what the correct answer would be. So do NOT harass me about doing my own school work.
