Sanity Call
You hear her call through nighttime terrors,
Her voice grasps you to the core,
Feeling remerge like ripped letters,
Tossed upon your wooden floor.
Memories haunt you like trapped ghosts,
They are but transfixed in their picket line,
Taking from you everything you ever held close,
Your unmatched rhyme and dying time.
Why did she not stay with you forever?
Was she too rummaged to ever-set a foot right,
Beneath your lone world you hear but scattered errors,
Banging in your head her cackled voice.
In this hospital no one believes your verbal wish,
They say virally that she never did exist,
But you know they are wrong everyone is,
She is waiting for you’re mind to halt full fist.
As they pump you with anti love drugs, calculated and cold,
As your eyes scatter too the fiasco on the wall,
All you can hear is her voice, as you enter your new fall,
The doctors unravelling you piece by piece and all your passing moment sold.
