Could you please critique my acrostic poem for a new Grandchild?

Just a tiny bundle of joy;
A darling and sweet little boy.
X chromosomes I think are best;
Oh joy; I am now three times blessed.
Now a Nana; I’m delighted.

Our wonderful son has a son;
Love and caring has just begun.
I vow I will always cherish,
Verily; until I perish,
Evermore this wonderful child;
Resting so beautifully mild.

His loving Pa and Grandmother,
Adore this gift, like no other.
Read our thanks seen in this poem
Then open up this jeroboam!

That is beautiful ! I'm sure your son and his wife will love it :)

Jeroboam...? But either way, that was really sweet. Gifts from the heart are always the best. It really shows how much you care. It's something that only that child will have; I think he'll treasure that for his entire life.
