Old woman found dead at home

Yesterday an elderly person was found dead in her bathroom. The neighbours of the 68 year-old woman had called the police because they recognized an offensive smell in the hallway. First the police thought that it may be an accident. But when they found bloody footsteps on the ground they knew immediately that there must have been someone else present at the time of death. Reportedly the old woman and her daughter Louise had a big quarrel because Louise did not want to take care of her mother Grace any longer. We interviewed the dead mother's about the family backgrounds. He told us that Louise and their mother had a difficult relationship because Grace has never taken Louise as seriously as she has always wanted. Unfortunately Louise has never achieved any support from her mother. Instead Grace discouraged her from becoming a barrister in order to teach her the traditional female roles like cooking or sewing. Another reason for their conflict is the fact that she had to care for Grace on her own. When the police found out about the quarrel Louise became the focus of the investigation. Right at the beginning of the questioning last night Louise burst into tears and confessed to the crime. She truly regrets the accident and claimes that Grace had fallen fatally when she was pushed by Louise.
The court hearing will take place within a few weeks.
