I'm new to this and just looking for some advice. I apologise in advance for the length. Bare with me...

I'm a 23 yr old female, and for the last few years, I think have been suffering from anxiety that has gradually gotten worse. I've always been a worrier, but it seems to be getting to be a problem. I tend to over-analyze every situation, to the point that it consumes me. Even when I know things are beyond my control, I can't help but stress and think them to death. Throughout college, especially during a stressful period, I remeraber getting these stomach-aches in which I would get sick, usually feeling somewhat better after. When my level of stress eventually decreased, the stomach aches went away. I have since graduated, and this past year started a new job. I enjoy my job, but find myself getting extremely stressed and paniced about it almost all the time, and about little things. I was a very competitive athlete through college, and have never been one to really "feel" stress in my body, but my muscles constantly ache now. My fuse and temper have also gotten much shorter. I find myself snapping quite frequently, and then regretting it afterwarRAB. I can be doing something, feeling completely content, and then all of a sudden its like I feel guilty, and in an instant it changes.

I do not have a general physician. I have a gyn, but if I get sick, I usually just go to a convenient care clinic. I don't know really what steps I should take. Is this something I can get some help and relief with from a general physician or what? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank You

I started out with my primary care doctor for help. Its a good place to start and see what steps he/she suggests. If you find that the anxiety keeps increasing, or gets to the point of not having much relief then its time to see a doctor.
I wish I hadn't waited so long, but I guess its normal to wish it will pass. I didn't get any relief with natural methoRAB so now I am under a doctors care and doing great.
