I wouldn't bother with it.
It could possibly be used to represent the earth element - or you could use salt.
And it could possibly be used to represent the fire element - or you could just use a candle.
Mainly, it strikes me as just being used by the seller to bilk money out of you.
Candles and salt are a lot cheaper.
But if you want it, go for it.
