Lets hope Cingular drops the N75 and picks this baby up.
 
Well according to this, there is one for europe and one for the states. Would make sense that Cingular would be the carrier for the states since it's a GSM phone. And Nokia is trying to make a impact here. I wouldn't be suprised if we never see the N75 and see a N76 with AT&T branding.

I bet the N76 goes to Tmobile, it is only EDGE and not HSDPA or even UMTS. I think the Treo 680 is the last smartphone (including Blackberry) that is not 3G on Cingular.
 
Why would it only be EDGE? C'mon, read the articles in the links. It's a N series phone. Here is another one. It has all the bands of UMTS europe and usa. There will be two different versions. One for the US and one for Europe.

Yeah, missed that. You are right.

Why would they do that

Well hopefully they release the N75 soon. I can always play with the one my marketing manager is testing now.
 
I have no idea why manufacturers make half the decisions they do. I wonder how many cents get added to the Cost of each device if they included all the frequencies? Probably $.50
