Could there be a middle east war between Sunni and Shia Muslims?

Shia Muslims now run Iraq which was the jewel in the crown. The Shia also want Bahrain which has majority Shia but is ruled by Sunnis. Shia are increasing their numbers in Pakistan. After centuries of oppression will the Shia now rule the middle east and is this a good thing?
 
At last! Someone has finally hit the nail on the head of what is REALLY behind the uprisings in so many middle eastern countries. Not all of these countries can possibly be ruled by despots - nor have a history of treating the population badly. This is all about power and which group/tribe/sect get to run the country! There have been many more deaths in Iraq caused by in-fighting between different muslim groups vying for power than there were by the US/UK military during the invasion and up to shipping out. These deaths are, of course, conveniently not mentioned! Good thing-v-bad thing? Only time will tell.
 
This would be the greatest news in years. Let them kill each other off, then the US and UK could stop sending troops into Civil Wars. Think of all the Soldiers it would save.
