Could the Xbox 360 handle games like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 if the 360 had Blu-Ray ?

I mean the developers at Naughty Dog and Guerilla games claim that the these games couldn't be done on Xbox 360 because it doesn't have Blu-Ray, you can't fit that game on a DVD, that's there main reason, so meaning the Xbox 360's processor could handle games like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 if it had the Blu-Ray player ??? LOL really, I always thought the 360's hardware was inferior to ps3 hardware in all aspects. Prove me wrong people.
