Could the Brian Vicker's team penalty be a sign to NASCAR of a simple improvement...

...that NASCAR should make ...? to the COT?

If the thiner sheet metal can allow "up to 75 pounds" of weight to be transfered from the top of the car to the bottom of the car AND .... create a better handling car ... And ... still maintain the safety standards intended for the COT in the first place ... THEN ... shouldn't NASCAR look at this as beneficial for all teams? Is it possible this transfer of weight (which lowers the center of gravity and helps the car handle better) might help resolve some of the tire issues due to the fact that the COT rolls over more than the older style cars that were used for many years before?

They need to stop digging their heels into the dirt and change SOMETHING!
Tires are blowing like it's the 4th of July, and Goodyear's taking the heat, but that can't last forever.
High Center of Gravity, Bump stops, car won't turn.
Bring back springs and coils, lower the CG (or add more weight to chassis), increase visibility, and you'll have better, safer racing.
I thought that was what it was all about in the first place.

I am sure there is always room for improvement but if you have a remedy or suggestion then you should make it to NASCAR; not cheat.
