most likely b/c of user error? My friend buys/sells computers on craislist and he sold a laptop to a girl in a town an hour away. She knew that it was a second-hand computer and we told her that it was working fine for us. A week later, she calls saying that it won't charge and won't play music unless you tip the laptop onto its side. I told her that the phone she just called did NOT belong to the friend, that he just used it while we were in town the day he sold the laptop, and that she needed to email him the problems. He didn't get a chance to email back and said that it sounded like a user error anyways, since it worked perfect for him. He doesn't have a car so he had no way to go there and she didn't leave a number to call. A month later, she called again but we didn't get to the phone in time and all she said in the message was to call her back, no number again. She called recently and left another message, saying that if he didn't refund the money or fix the computer, that she'd take him to court and finally left a number to call. She doesn't even remember his first name or that its not his phone she's been calling but rather mine. It was only a $200 computer that she could easily sell for as much or maybe a little less if she posted it online...Is this even something she can take someone to court over? Wouldn't it cost even more to take someone to court then to just buy a new computer? Should we bother worrying at all? I'm not liking that she keeps calling my phone.
