I am going to sit 2 English exams on Thursday, one of which is on poetry (which i've never studied!) Can someone please tell me what kind of poem is Drummer Hodge, it has 3 x 6 lines and every other line rhymes with itself as so:
They threw in Drummer Hodge, to rest
Uncoffined - just as found:
His landmark is a kopje-crest
That breaks the veldt around;
And foreign constellations west
Each night above his mound.
I thought it was a quatrain (but thats 4 lines, not 6)
