For those who don't know, 4X means:
eXplore
eXpand
eXploit
eXterminate
There's also a version of this called 5X, which adds eXperience to the above four ideas.
I already know about Alpha Centauri and its expansion pack, Sins of a Solar Empire, the Civilization series, and the Galatic Civilizations series, so don't post those.
Also, don't be afraid to mention any web games as long as they're 4X or 5X.
