Could somebody please tell me if the University is reputable / 'good'?

Uni's get reputations usually based on being good for certain subjects.

For example Oxford and Cambridge are great for the academics, but hardly fantastic if you want to study design.

So what are you wanting to study?
 
Sorry! The University of Bournemouth!
I am wanting to study there, but I do not know how it really stacks up with other universities. Can anybody help me? I am also looking at Portsmouth, if you can help me there as well. I have looked at The Times' rankings, but that does not really tell me much. Thank you!
 
I honestly dont know much about bournemonuth but portsmouth on the other hand is a very good university in most things. Great rankings and student reviews. Go to whichever you like the most. Id suggest meeting with someone at both schools and getting a feel for the place and choosing the one you think is a better fit. Also look at class discriptions and course paths there may be one that suits you better then the other
