Could my parents house be haunted?

Last night, I heard this creepy sound of somebody walking up the stairs at 3am. What really freak me out was this Ghost had the nerve to knock on my bedroom door two times.Never mind the door was open, it felt like someone undoubtedly staring at my soul.Which made me terrified to open my eyes the whole experience could be recounted as very uncomfortable.

With the noise being so loud, I am surprised my parents didn't wake up from this, they are close minded individuals who don't believe in the paranormal. However, each time I tell them our house might be haunted, they look at me like I'm the crazy one who is hearing voices in my head. And just the other day my lock door flew open by itself when it was locked like someone wanted it to be unlocked.

As you can see there is a definitely paranormal experience in my house, my question is should I accept this? Try communicating with the dead.

when i was like 9 i was going to sleep, and i seen a hand and none of my family belived me.. now a couple of years later in the same room my sister has been having her light turned on and off out of the blue the other day i was homealone and i went upstairs and her tv turned on and the bathroom light did aswell, then it happened agian today:/ now i dont want to go their agian..
