could my father go to jail for threatening to stub me with a knife?

Me and my dad had a disagreement well he though all my expensive winters jackets away and well I didn’t like that etc.. I got mad then he grabbed a knife and threaten to stub me ect… is not the first time he does it he did it once before so now is 2 times, he is a very angry person and hates everything and every one been a horrible father since I’m aware he even molested me as a child and my mother doesn’t help me she calls me a liar

So now my question is, could my father go to jail for threatening to stub me with a knife?
