Well, recently I've realized I'm not so compatible with my partner's music tastes. Or rather I'm more open to listening to most of her music, where as when I try to choose something I prefer I can tell it's "not her type of music". I loved the mixed tape that she made me, but I can't seem to say the same when I tried making her a mixed tape; neither can she.
Do you think this would affect us in anyway cus music is her life and it's the same for me as well. Though we have our biases. She's more of the fast beat rocker while I'm the slow, mellowed out one.
I'm going to try to listen to more of her music to understand her better, but would you think that's doing too much?
Basically, how big of a role do you think music plays in our lives and relationships?
