Could it be herpes without sex?

I have these dark, red, itchy lesions on my face and stomach. They get really itchy at night. Last time this happened, I went to a small family doctor place, and they said it was herpetic. But I've never had sexual intercourse, netherless kissed a boy before. Last time, it went away, but they're back again. Is it possible that they're herpes?
 
You can get herpes around the edges of your mouth which would be Herpes Simplex I (one) and herpes in the genital area is Herpes Simplex II (two). They are rarely found on your stomach. It might be possible this is impetigo which is a weeping, red sore which can get quite large sometimes. You might go to WebMd.com and type in impetigo and see if your symptoms match or the pictures look similar and if they do, follow the advice given. If not, a trip to a dermatologist might get you an answer and the correct medication to clear this up.
