Could I take a test now?

I came off pill on the 24th of May and had spot bleeding on the 30th, I am due again this weekend 27th (If my cycle is 28 days) I am thinking I could be pregnant would a test work now?
Thats what I was thinking it was too early, My doctor give me rest to hand in end of this week 26th and get results week commencing 29th. Jade C how did you know you were pregnant? Missed period? Or did you have any signs? as if I am I am only 3-4 weeks, but been feeling really funny,
Feeling Sick, Cramping, Bad head, weeing more, and wee stronger and darker, nose bleeds, bad back, bad boobs, few others as well, not sure weather it all in me head wit coming off pill or what, I am finding it hard to wait till after period, I dont knnow what my cycle is either. lol xx
 
wait until Monday hun you will get a more accurate result then as if you are pregnant your hormone levels will have risen to an amount that is more detectable on a home test (sometimes they are not sensitive enough and may give you a negative even when your pregnant). so wait if you can! A test could possibly show the positive this early, but I personally would wait until after you've missed your period. Pregnancy tests are not only expensive, but they also can make you sad if they are negative because it's too early...I took two tests a week before I was due and they came up negative, and I was crushed. I waited until the day I was due, took another one, and thought I could kind of see a positive. Two days after I was due, I took another and it was definitely positive!
