I'm looking in to buying a 998 i love this bike but i think the tail lights are ugly and do not fit the rest of the bike. So could i put a new 1098 rear fairing to get a sharper look?
No! That's a classic bike and a work of art. There's only so many that exist in the world so I wouldn't mess with it. It would also lower the resale value. It's not some generic japanese bike that you have to decorate just to try to look different because you bought the same bike as everyone else.
