I'm only 22 and have very high blood pressure. I learned that my kidneys and heart are functioning normally, so my doctors are very confused and concerned. I am mildly obese, so I know weight loss should help. My blood pressure is often 140/100 on average, sometimes high sometimes lower. I am scared as I understand how dangerous this is, if I were to cut down salt significantly, practice yoga and mild exercise, and quit smoking is it possible I could see changes that quickly? I'm asking because it would give me some peace to know I could control this, the beta blockers im on are not working.
