My wife took out a restraining order against me to bar me from our residence. She moved out prior to me receiving court papers. She has her own place, however, she frequently drops in to our home at random to collect items for her new place. My question is, can she continue to keep this order in effect even though she no longer lives here and is not paying the bills? Also, can she, at whim, call the local constable and have them pick me up just for living here?
Could I possibly be arrested and go to jail?
