ok, so the past few days I've had a little bit of a sore throat but I figured it was just going to be no biggie. But today I couldn't hardly swallow and food or drinks without cringing in pain and I have blisters on the back of my tongue and on my tonsils the back wall of pharynx. I have some odd stuff on my tongue which from what I have learned is called strawberry tongue.
I looked up symptoms and it keeps pointing to scarlet fever, yet I have no rashes, which is said to be accompanied with that. I have though, however, felt nauseated and extremely tired for the past few days. One day I even slept 16 hours. I haven't really had a fever that I know of, but I haven't really checked for one. I just know I haven't been feeling up to par.
any suggestions would be helpful. I was wondering if this is something that I need immediate medical attention for or if I could start taking some amoxicillin leftover from when I had strep throat earlier this year.
