could i join the army?

hi i turned 17 in april and am thinking about joining the army but with leaving school before i should have with no qualification's not to sure if i could. i never really thought about joining the army till about a month ago when it hit me how sh*t my life is, and i have been looking for a job for a year now (applied for loads) and not one have come up so im starting to think ill never find a job and heard about how good the army can be and just want to know if anyone can give me a bit more info on it and tell me my chances of being able to join. thanks
