OKay so I was jumping around in the water at the beach, and a tiny piece of a shell got stuck in my foot. It wasn't very deep, and I easily got it out. It bled and I avoided getting sand it in since it hurt. I can't really walk on it now because of the pain. It is red, painful, and a tiny bit swollen.
I washed it out in the ocean, used warm water when I got back to the condo, and I also swam in a chlorine pool since I got the wound.
So with these signs, could it be infected? I'm not sure since I washed it out so much, and I thought I would see if any of you knew. Thanks.
