AP U.S. History
Honors Precalculus
Senior year, I plan to take:
AP Statistics
Wellness
AP Music Theory
AP Economy/Government
Honors English IV
Honors Anatomy
Wind Ensemble
My current GPA is a 3.8 up until the first quarter of my junior year.
Accomplishments:
Member of Public Health Youth Council (required to do 100+ hours community service in this group)
1st chair alto saxophone in Wind Ensemble (school's best band)
BETA Club
National Honors Society
National French Honors Society (president)
French Club
Vice president of a technological group that me and some others created
Been 1st chair in county bands, auditioned and made region bands
Student Government Association Secretary
9th grade President
Worked as a daycare helper
FCA
Gone to Solo Ensemble festivals (for band), and ranked "Superior" 6 times in a row
I enjoy public speaking and music.
I know my GPA is not perfect, but combined with my extracurriculars, could I get into one of these colleges? (especially Northwestern or Vanderbilt!) I would really appreciate some input for people who have been through this process before!
My GPA of 3.8 is unweighted. I'm not sure what it would be if the honors and AP classes counted more.
