Could I buy an MA 15+ game for an under 15 year old?

I am 17 and I tried to buy a game for an MA 15+ game for an under 15 year old who is about 14 and I had ID does the worker have any right to refuse me. She said she couldn't sell it to me because she knew I was giving it to him. Does this even matter?
 
You have the right to buy the game she had to sell it to you
Go in again when she is not there and buy it then but go in yourself

A little related story:
I went in a shop and went to buy GTA 4 (ma +15) for my 13 year old child it happened the same but he finally got in the mail thats the best part about eb games buying online you only have to press yes im older and there are no critcs to say its for someone else :D
