I'm from the suburbs but got the hood runnin through my bloodline/ this economy got a ***** feeling like I'm dying/ One tear drop on my face but no I'm not crying / you can look into my eyes and see the resemblance of a hungry lion/ that mean I'm out to get it by any-means necessary my ego telling me to do things that's going to make me end up in the cemetery or serving commissary/ swallowed my pride and started flippin hamburgers but one thing I told myself is that it will be a good burger/ now its the end of the month no money but the rent do and all I got is the baking soda and the fish scale/ now I'm in the trap
workin off my clientele/ Lord I know its wrong but it feel so right because now I'm counting 10 thousand every night is this a test/ God, help me out cuz I'm possessed I need the root of all evil for my stress/ Cuz money's like a strong prescription drug!
