Could Hitler Have Been Stopped Prior to 1939...Debate-Opening Statement Help!?

I have to do a debate in History on the topic in my question and I need some help with the opening statement. I am not asking for anyone to write a super good opening statement for me but I just need some help putting my ideas together. This is what I have so far:

World War one was said to be the “War to End All Wars”, yet it was one of the reasons that led to World War two. This was because after WWI the Treaty of Versailles was signed.
During World War Two, over 60 million people in the military, civilians, or and Jewish people in the Holocaust died.
There are many controversies over whether Adolf Hitler could have been stopped prior to 1939. Some say that if Hitler could have been stopped, then he would have been stopped. Other say that with all the other events that took place at the same time that war was inevitable. But now in hindsight, we can say that Hitler could have been stopped before 1939 for many reasons concerning the Treaty of Versailles, British and French interception/involvement during the years leading up to the start of WWII, and ________(3rd argument that group member is working on).

If you have any suggestions that could help me with my opening statement, please anwer.
Suggestions on how to write my opening statement.

I sure think he could have been. Most historians agree that WWI was the cause of WWII or the treaty was. It stripped Germany of the Ruhr valley and all it's manufacturing and I believe made them pay reparations that broke the country. By 1939? the Reichsmark had gone from four to the American dollar to something like 3 trillion. That produced the climate for action. Look how we reacted to 9/11. The same thing happened in Rome when they where conquered by the Ostrogoths. The money went to nothing. Will we never learn.
