Could asking a politically extreme professor for a letter of recommendation

come back to haunt me? I recently graduated from college and am applying to law school. There are two professors of mine whom I would like to ask for letters of recommendation from; however, both of them are somewhat politically extreme, that is to say one has ties to certain political organizations and the other has written books and articles criticizing a certain former presidential administration for certain of it's practices. I enjoyed both their classes very much and didn't find them to be overly politically expressive in class; however, I do not know if their politics could hurt my chances when applying to law school or possibly in the future when beginning my career, hopefully in prosecution. I, MYSELF, AM QUITE FAR AWAY FROM BOTH OF THEM ON THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM AND AGREE WITH FEW, IF ANY AT ALL, OF THEIR POLITICAL VIEWS. One is a very well established attorney who has had some famous clientele (one even being a very well known former president of a country). However, he is a member of some legal organizations that have very clear political views. And as I previously stated, the other has authored several articles and books expressing views about the actions of a former presidential administration.
Like i said, I enjoyed both of their classes and found them to be good teachers. While they had the occasional comment in class, they were not the kind of professors who threw their political views in the faces of their students. I did well in both their classes and I feel as if there are no other professors that either:
A. I did as well in their classes
B. I knew very well (although I didn't know these two very well either)
or C. that are as well established in the legal world (as in the case of my professor who is an attorney).

Could letters of recommendation from these professors hurt my chances of applying to law school or when starting my career???
